How to Add a Locker and Lock Combination During Checkout


1. Start a checkout for the student 0:00

  • Begin the checkout process for the appropriate group or team.
  • Search for the student you want to check out items to.
  • Add the items being checked out as usual (for example, jerseys or other equipment).

2. Use the student information panel during checkout 0:24

  • While checkout is in progress, look at the student information panel on the right side of the screen.
  • This panel includes fields for both Locker and Lock information.
  • You can update these details without leaving the checkout flow.

3. Add and save a locker number 0:32

  • Enter the student’s locker number in the Locker field.
  • Example: enter something like 301 B.
  • Click Save to attach the locker number to the student’s profile.

4. Add and save a combination lock 0:44

  • Enter the student’s combination lock information in the Lock field.
  • You can also add the lock’s serial number if you have it.
  • The serial number is optional, but it can help identify the lock later.
  • Click Save to store the lock details on the student’s profile.

5. Finish checkout to apply the updates 1:14

  • Complete the checkout process by clicking Finish Checkout.
  • The locker and lock information will be saved to the student’s profile.
  • This ensures the information is available later when you look up the student.

6. Verify the saved locker and lock information 1:14

  • Search for the student using global search.
  • Open the student’s profile to confirm the locker number appears.
  • The lock combination and related details should also be visible on the profile.

7. Optional: manage locks from the Lock screen 1:27

  • You can also add locks from the Lock screen in the left-hand menu.
  • This provides a central place to manage combination locks in bulk.
  • Use this screen if you want all lock records stored and managed in one place.
