  • Search by student name, player name, or item name.
  • Select the correct result from the search results.
  • Navigate to the relevant record or item page.
  • Choose the option to report it as missing.
  • Use this as a flexible fallback when you do not know the exact check-in path or item location.

Cautionary Notes

  • Make sure you select the correct student, player, or item before reporting anything as missing.
  • If multiple results appear, verify the details carefully to avoid reporting the wrong item.
  • Use the method that best matches the information you have available: name, item list, ID number, or QR code.
  • Reporting an item as missing should be done only after confirming it is actually missing and not simply misplaced in the workflow.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Use check-in reporting when you are already in the check-in process to save time.
  • Use the Checked Out dashboard card when you need to review active items quickly.
  • Use ID number or QR code search for the fastest direct access to a specific item.
  • Use global search as a universal backup when you are unsure where to start.
  • Keep item identifiers and names accurate and consistent to speed up searches.
