Apply One Image to Multiple Gear Items in Inventory
Objective
This article explains how to assign the same image to multiple gear items at once from the Inventory screen. Following these steps ensures the selected items display the correct image throughout the app for easier identification and assignment.
Key Steps
1. Open the Inventory screen 0:19
- Click Inventory to open the Inventory screen.
- Locate the gear item category you want to update (for example, guardian caps).
- Confirm you are viewing the correct item list before making changes.
2. Select all matching items 0:28
- Use the Select All button at the top of the Inventory view.
- Verify the selection count appears correctly (for example, 48 items selected).
- Make sure only the items you want to update are selected.
3. Open the bulk actions menu 0:40
- Click More Actions to view available bulk actions for the selected items.
- Review the menu options before choosing the next step.
- Select the action that matches your goal: Apply Image.
4. Choose and apply the image 0:51
- In the image selection window, choose the image you want to assign.
- Select the correct image from the available options (for example, the Guardian Cap image).
- Click Apply to [number] items to confirm the update.
5. Confirm the image was applied 1:00
- Wait a few seconds for the system to finish applying the image.
- Check that each selected item now shows the new image.
- Use the updated image to help identify the item later when assigning or navigating in the app.
Cautionary Notes
- Verify the selected items carefully before applying the image, since the action affects all selected items at once.
- Confirm the correct image is chosen before clicking apply to avoid updating items with the wrong visual.
- Allow the process to complete before navigating away from the page to ensure the update is saved properly.
